Texas Family Homes was founded by Turner Bowman in the year 2000. Turner is the third generation of homebuilders in his family that has embraced the Texas Hill Country as their home. Turner learned at an early age that if you directed your efforts toward hard work and honesty your reputation would take care of itself. That formula for success that began in the early 1900’s with Pete Turner is still very much working today.

Texas Family Homes takes pride in not being a cookie cutter builder. We are a very versatile builder that enjoys the creative process that every new client brings to the table. We understand that every person wanting to build a home has individual wants and needs. That is what makes building every custom home such a great experience.

We have put together a tremendous team to handle every need that a family interested in building a custom home would have. From a professional design team to assist in creating your perfect dream home to a finance team that can customize a creative financing package to meet your individual needs, to a real estate team that handle all of your real estate needs, to a decorating team that will hold your hand and assist you in making all of your interior and exterior selections for your home.

TFH Design Team: We have several professional home designers that can draw the house of your dreams. If you already have a set of plans for your house we will be happy to build that home for you. Many of our clients will look through our inventory of house plans and they will use one of our plans as a starting point and customize that plan to create their perfect plan. Some of our finest home designs were started by drawing some lines on a napkin at Jim's Coffee Shop.

TFH Finance Team: We have teamed up with several finance teams to make sure our clients have access to every financing plan that is available. We understand that every client has a unique financial need when it comes to financing the construction of their new home and it is our job to make sure that whatever financial need our clients have, that we have the perfect program available to them.

TFH Real Estate Team: We have a real estate team that can assist our clients in many areas. If you need to sell your existing home, not only can we help you sell it, we can save you money on your sales fees. If you already own your lot then we will build on your lot. If you do not own a lot our team can assist in finding the perfect lot for your home or we even have several lots in our inventory for you to choose from.

TFH Decorating Team: One of our most important teams is our decorating team. This team will definitely take the selection process from a stressful experience to one of fun and pleasure. They will assist you in choosing the right exterior and interior paint colors, the masonry selection and roof materials, the lighting and plumbing fixtures, flooring selections, cabinets and countertops, hardware and trim, window coverings and much more. Our decorating team is there to hold your hand throughout the entire selection process.

Texas Family Homes prides itself on keeping cost down and communication up. Our company has structured itself to operate with a very low overhead which enables us to offer significant savings to our clients. We also understand the importance of having continual open lines of communication with our clients. This process assures us that we will always be working from the same page.

We are presently building in several subdivisions on the Highway 46 corridor from Boerne to New Braunfels and we are also building in Horseshoe Bay and the Lake LBJ area.

Our goal is to design and build the home of your dreams, using the highest quality of materials and workmanship, keeping all construction cost within your budget and completing your home within your desired timeline.
